INSPIRING

Help your students uncover a love for reading and learn more about careers

in publishing and related industries.

What is it?How does it work?

Brought to you by Speakers for Schools

and Penguin Random House, National

Teen Book Club is an online programme

for state schools and colleges. Created to help 11-19-year-olds enjoy reading within

a welcoming peer community, it introduces six books for teens over the course of a year.

All you have to pay for is the

heavily discounted book!

• We run the National Teen Book

Club programme in 4-week cycles with a weekly online session every Wednesday between 3.30pm and

4.30pm for each scheduled pick.

• We carefully select a book and

guest speakers, and an experienced

member of our team runs each

hour-long session*.

• Sessions are delivered online,

and each week participating

students join the interactive virtual

sessions as a group from school/

college with an educator hosting.

There is no limit to the number

of young people you may register.

Discover some of the books we’ve read so far:

*An educator from your school/college will be required to be present at each session.

FIND INSPIRATIONAL TALKS

Ready to be introduced to some of the UK’s most inspirational speakers?

From Michelin-star chefs and CEOs to former cabinet ministers and celebrities, our engaging talks enable 11-19-year-olds to learn the secrets to career success

from 100s of high-achieving professionals and world-famous names.

WHAT’S AVAILABLE? WHY WATCH?

Your school or college can apply to

host an in-person talk with a VIP

speaker, and students can join live

online sessions, or replay previous

talks through our impressive broadcast library.

By showcasing the amazing stories of people who have overcome adversity to achieve positions of power and influence, you’ll be inspired to consider a range of high-income professional careers you may otherwise never have considered.

97% of educators would recommend a speaker from

our programme to other schools and colleges, and educators who hosted a talk rated it as 4.6 out of 5 stars.
